Plans and dreams 2017

Now you may be wondering why I posted a picture of the sky. Well it's because many of the projects I am going to talk about are up in the air right now with only a few concrete ones.

So let's start with what is going on now and what I will continue in 2017
1. Is the construction of a Gunboat based off a drawing I found. It's coming along well and should be done relatively soon.
2. Oronegrean Militia! Getting close to completing these figures. No command figures for them yet. But for now any well dressed and dashing character will do.
3. Comrade Pirates. Now I really try and avoid bringing up my political beliefs here. So I hope you'll let me have this one moment of exposure. I'm a member of a socialist organisation and I decided to paint up some pirate figures for the other members of our branch. This project is always behind as new members join and I need a few more female pirates. So this one won't really be completed this year.
4. Oronegrean Civilians. Again 18th century. I want to get a few painted up. Will be useful for raids by native tribes. (See below)
5. Project: Sanctuary Lanes. This is something that needs a whole lot of lore fleshed out for it. The idea is of refugees coming to Oronegro in secret. The first people for this are from Japan (figure wise not lore wise) I have some Samurai and Ninga for this. Lore will follow later for this project.
6. Other figures. Plenty of random figures in various stages of completion. Some only primed. Some based. Others with paint. Look out for some new enemies for Oronegro.

Now what about projects I am about to start or have got the ground work ready for.
1. A fluyt this will be an interesting build with multiple decks making construction a challenge.
2. Natives of Oronegro! Finally some interesting things. I dug up an old set of Hät Thracians, some partially painted but without primer (oh how I've learned). Anyway black paint and PVA base and I'll paint up some. I have a few being "test" painted right now to see if this idea will work. Instead of steel weapons they'll have copper and bronze (more fitting for the Americas)

Projects in planning. Or projects Gowan thinks he can do but probably shouldn't or can't do this year!
1. A Junk! This is related to project: sanctuary lanes. (Spanish name pending) this will be an interesting and exotic addition to my flotilla. A merchant vessel of reasonable size it will play the role of target in games with the pirates.
2. ONE SHIP TO RULE THEM ALL! After the Junk I probably will stop making large model ships. (Because at that point all the bookshelves and window sills at my parents place will be occupied and we'll have to move to attic storage.) But before I close down my large shipyard I want to have one last hurrah! A frigate with two decks, based off various designs incorporating all my experience and skills.  This is a dream project, one that's probably not even going to start this year. But in the world of planning 5 years is considered a short period of time so this is definitely a near future project!
3. Catamaran. In contrast to the big ships I also plan to build a small vessel. Catamarans did not really take off in the West until the late 19th century but in Oronegro this can be different. Because of their speed this vessel can have many uses.

So is that all? No probably not. In all reality I will let these projects be put on hold and try a few others.
Oh and as always if you have any figures you want to get rid of please let me know. I might be able to give them a good home.  ;-)

Amassing a large force

Well the name says it all. after two years of not buying figs I went on a bit of a spree in the last few days getting all sorts of figs for the 18th century Oronegrean project. Most of these figs will arrive in the coming weeks but I thought I'd give you all a preview of what will be coming and what will eventually be painted up.

Lets start with my latest purchases. IMEX Pioneers and Pilgrims.
These two sets will give Oronegro it's civilian population as well as a few militia figures for good measure. Mainly I got them for their civilian aspect so that I may bring Oronegro to life. (they'll also make good victims in a raid).

Next up let's look at some pirates. These guys will crew the Abigail and eventually the other pirate ships I small be building (the rude joke is planned and in construction). These guys are from Orion although I hope one day to get other pirate figures perhaps some Marz or LW ones if I feel in need of removing flash.
Arrr me hearties.
The remaining figures are from Caesar and need a bit of explanation. First we have the conquistador set. This is the most obvious as it clearly relates to Oronegro's founding. In addition these guys could be specialist troops for later periods who deal with native troops and therefore generally need armour. They could be used in other ways too. All they need is a story behind them.
A useful set and one I have wanted for a very long time.
Now things get plain odd. First up is a set of Caesar's Ninja and Samurai. Now before you leave this page going "He's lost it" bare with me. Oronegro is known to be founded by European and to a minor extent North African outcasts. As Oronegro grew in power it spread it's often clandestine influence across the globe trying to take in outcasts from elsewhere. Therefore during the Sengoku Period in Japan some Samurai outcasts and Ninja took their chances and made the Journey to Oronegro. The Ninja's skills were quickly recognised and were asked to train a new Oronegrean unit - Los Angeles Negros. I'll clear up the story later.
These guys will fit in to Oronegro or I am not as mad as I say I am
Finally a little speciality set. Caesar's Journey to the West set. My sister say me looking at this one and asked me to get it. So I obliged. This one is special set and perhaps it represents a little parade group for a festival celebration in La Ley. So perhaps there is a small group of settlers from the far east living in Oronegro.
These guys are going to be fun to paint.
Well that's all for now. I'd love your ideas for what some of these figures could be. And if you have any suggestions for what I should get next. Perhaps I need to explore what to do to expand Oronegro's armed forces.

Doubling the Fleet!

"Capt. we need to double the size of the fleet!" Well it's pretty self explanatory isn't it. I currently have 4 boats (3 river boats, 1 sloop) and my goal for this year will be to end the year with 8. But what shall those boats be? I don't want to make more small ones, at least not many. So if the current ratio is 3 small to one big let these new models be 1 small 3 big!

maybe this is a little over-ambitious?

El Francisco / San Francisco:
The final of my small boats. Named for long time follower, the angry lurker himself Francis Lee. Pirate vessel? Trader? Naval ship? or Fishing boat? I'll let the man himself decide. I already have a hull ready and prepared for this one so it shouldn't take too long once I get my materials together.
The hull appears to be similar to those for the ships I already made, perhaps a little bigger.

La Tigre:
This one is going to be big, perhaps a sixth rate or trading vessel? Named after my Aunt Hillary (her nickname is Tig/Tigger from Winnie the Poo). This vessel will join the Abigail as the pride of my model fleet until an even bigger one comes along. :-)

I might make one a little smaller than this, around the 43cm (17in) mark.
St Michael:
Named for a man with whom I have traded many figures. A fine Fluyt for my Dutch friend. This vessel will not be as large as La Tigre but more complex with removable decks to allow figures to go at multiple levels. I will try to use my snapping shut method for these but it will take more time to do.

These are beautiful ships, the lines are very nice.
El Santiago:
Finally a really big one, for if I get through the others in one year (a very ambitious aim). This one is named for yours' truly or rather the Spanish version of my middle name (my vanity can only go so far). I'm planning a fifth rate for this one! 1 1/2 to 2 decks with lots of gun ports for the full broadside experience. I have no clue where we are going to store this model but it will be the pride of my fleet.

Pirates better beware of this mighty ship!
Will these be all the ships I make? NO of course not! Will this actually take me a year? Right now I am erring towards longer (I don't have much time at home to build them). Can I have a ship named after me? Why yes, if you ask nicely. Being a subscriber for my blog(s) does help. Can you build me a ship? Well probably not, all my work takes an indefinite amount of time (no fixed times) and I haven't yet designed a model which can be taken apart and put back together for transport (wouldn't be able to mail it). But if you could pick it up perhaps, but only if we play a game with them first (I need a ruleset, may need to make one).

Anyway model ships are the pride of my collection and I want to build more. If you ever stumble across some nice plans or juicy informative pictures of some fine vessels please send them my way. But apart from the obvious needing to get on with them (and a mountain of figures) that is all for these vessels for now.

have a good day/night!

P.S. if anyone sees that set of Hät Marines and sailors for sale let me know. They'd make good crew men.

Rule making progress report.

Well I have typed up my rules and they are ready to print and test. anyway I have here an option for you. I can upload the files! yes even though I have yet to test them. the fact is I don't have much time to test my rules out what with school and all. SO Here is my proposal if you wish I can upload my Ground combat or my naval combat rule sets or both for you to try if you so wish... If I do so I'll make a big thing about it here and they'll get their own post, once you've tried the rules come back here and tell me how you found them... any constructive criticism you may have or ideas, then once I alter the rules I'll delete the old copy from on-line (to save space in my google docs) and hen post the new version both here and on my blog, if people like them well we'll see what I can do next with them.

This will be my first game... a raid upon a small stock house. A second time for the unhappy Alfred Hale who has retreated here after losing a battle to the bandits the previous day now with the remainder of his soldiers he not only has to fight for his own life but for members of the Castillo family as well who were transporting goods between San Fran and La Fortuna.
I have started using my camera again, batteries might not last long but I hope the image quality is better

the bandits, their actually my pirates and sailors but fit the role well

not many men left can Alfred hold out?
well there you go lets see what I can do for you. if you even have the slightest desire to try the rules don't be shy I need to see if they are half decent also.

greetings to Michael Peterson feel free to comment at any time on the blog I hope you enjoy watching my mad ideas progress or as is usually the case not progress.

As Promised

Well, well here I go again... I have my first company of infantry on the painting desk along with a small group of civilians but I now really feel obliged to complete the two ships I planned to do in gratitude to those who gifted me figs before... namely Blue Willow (Matt) and Laurence Strong (Larry) to these men I owe these ships. The Willow and the Laurence, these two will either be naval ships or civilian. The Laurence has to be big as the Haul I received from Canada more than tripled my whole 18th century force!!!!! though I do not wish to make each ship comparative to the size of the gift Such generosity must be compensated with something BIG although not as big as the Abigail as I cannot fit another HUGE ship in my room.

SO WHAT TO BUILD????

One ship type I liked but was too large was the Batavia.
nice lines but way too big
Of coarse if I want to make a small version of this ship I will need to make some rather large alterations because naturally a smaller version would not have the same number of masts or same sail pattern... on the other hand perhaps there is a similar type of boat that can fit the role and look similar. My only problem now is what about the Willow, she will be smaller though smaller does not mean inferior or that she will be in anyway weaker than the larger Laurence.

the name Willow strikes me as a more passive one so I think the Willow should be a civilian/commercial vessel. This might be a good thing as then I can have some poor souls as a target for the Pirate sloop Abigail or perhaps even something to be defended by the naval ships.

WHAT SHIPS DO YOU LIKE??? is there a special type of boat you like or do you think that you would like another small ship... of coarse I can't build to many ships but a few more would be good some traders, passenger vessels, fishing boats and more pirates are all needed to represent a good maritime environment and I am always willing to take down ideas :-D

what of early Oronegro part 2

well sort of in the last instalment I discussed the possibilities of using some Austrians as Oronegrean infantry and doing some conversions. well in this second installment I am proposing a different group to be the Oronegreans...  Württemberg. well the helmets are very similar as you will see but also its the sets available that makes them appeal to me. well the cavalry is yet to be released but look at the numbers.

HaT Württemberg Infantry  100x figs
HaT Württemberg Cavalry 12x cavalry
HaT Württemberg Artillery  16x figs and 4 guns

yes I know the artillery set has a pitiful crew but perhaps Oronegrean gunners were super efficient like F1 pit crews today. also the infantry are great you can either go to PSR or perhaps you can visit this section of the HäT site. I like the infantry set because of the Ratio of figure types; 40 infantry in helmets, 20 light infantry/ scouts (they will get tricorns or other suitable head gear) and 16 grenadiers (will get tricorns) also not to mention the NCO's officers and drummers that bring this set up to full strength.

so perhaps these men will be our Oronegreans instead. but your advice would be more than welcome.

hmm one more set should do it! Oronegro infantry

well I am not saying that one more set and I am done with them totally no no no I mean to get a century! 100 soldiers + some command and back up... currently I have 88, 60 standard soldiers 8 Command and support and 20 specialists This set should do it...
48 + 88 maybe be 136 altogether however that is not the end of the story... in this set I get 13 LMG's and 6 Rocket launcher troops, 3 potential NCO's and 25 normal guys
well lets try and get 100 troops I have this plan for the Oronegrean century so far...
a team = 5 soldiers (5)
a squad = 4 teams (20)
a unit = 2 squads (40) + 10 specialists; LMG's, stingers, Dragon etc. (50 total)
a century = 2 units (100)

this is what with this set I will have
136 total
85 standard troops (only need 80)
18 LMG's (4 M60 + 14 Saw)
2 dragon
3 stinger
3 Javelin
9 one shot rocket launchers
5 snipers
4 MP's
2 medics
1centurion
4 NCO's

how to reduce the numbers; take the 9 one shot guys and make them become normal soldiers after using the rocket launcher... I now have 27 to deal with, make the NCO's, medics, MP's, Snipers and Centurion not count towards the century... now I have 11 to deal with, 5 normal soldiers should become spotters for the snipers so I have only got only 6 soldiers to deal with, 5 LMG's (SAWs?) can be used as a body guard for the NCO's and the centurion so just on man to deal with and one Saw should become the Optio, a roman term for the second in command of the century :-) all neat and tidy, perhaps in future I can add some bomb squad troops, civilian relation teams and perhaps a could more medics to make a grand total of 150 soldiers 100 under the command of the centurion and 50 either acting in a command role or as support!

dream figure

now I have only ever done one post like this before so this is the second. I play an online game called Red Crusible2 its mostly free but recently I splashed out to make my character look cool. but now I have decided that not only was my decision was not my best way to spend my money but also that y character was so good I must turn it into a model! so here is James.ep3 he is not the greatest player on Red Crucible 2 but he looks cool and as such I am now determined to create a 20mm figure to do him justice! now I am not a good sculptor, far from it. however I wish to perhaps convert some figs to make him, or perhaps there is a sculptor out there willing to sculpt him- he would make a pretty good Russian (apart from the gun), or mercenary.

a backpack for good measure!

yes the gun is wrong a L1A1 sniper which is not Russian so not in keeping with the figure but hey if he was a mercenary it is OK
and he has a gas mask for protection

now remember my Spetnaz well I chose this uniform for the character because it reminded me of them

well there you go. his role in Oronegro will either be an elite Russian soldier or as a top operative for the National forces, a mercenary, who is known for his tactical know how and his great ability for planning! so if there are any sculptors out there willing to give this a go! or some on who can tell me some ways to create this guy I would be very happy to hear them. and some general comments on his look would also be good! thanks guys so many posts in one day it must be a record for me today.

embassy boards part 1 ALL FOLLOWERS REPORT

well I know that the poll is not over yet, but the small response is just enough to make me just start already!!!!

Give me the names of your nations NOW!!!!! so I can build you an embassy. as you can see from the following pics; there is allot of room to build.... so come on and get involved
they almost perfectly line up... this makes me happy

ah that main road will need to be shown in full. I'll add another main road to the mix as well. more realistic for embassies to be on wide roads
so come on guys join in the fun!!!! names, nations, and plans (for your embassy) are all welcome

I've added a poll

well look up in the top right corner of this blog and you'll see a little poll. you can select all you want, please note that the first vote by me was on "more sleep" I have had a busy weekend but more on that later :-D

just a qick post what I will say is that I am thinking of allowing others to post on this site to really open up the thinking atmosphere

working on a map... and a how to for you to do one too

recently it has been getting colder and wetter outside and at school being stuck outside has become more and more depressing. luckily some of the schools computer rooms are open during lunch time (and I can eat there yea) so I got down to working on stuff for Oronegro.

I must state at this point I cannot show you the map it is saved at school and even though my father could use the school network to access my files (hence why I tell people not to save dodgy stuff onto their computers) he is working so I'll leave him alone for now.

what I can tell you is how to make one your self! first of all I only know how to get this to work on Windows7 my machine runs XP so I cannot get you all an easy to look at guide :-(

  1. go to google maps and turn on the "terrain" setting
  2. find an area of the world that you think has the right coastline, relief or river system. do not worry about orientation!!! try to avoid areas that are famous i.e whole continents. also try and select places with very few place names.
  3. (this is where you need Windows 7) select the "snipping tool" and select the area of land you want, do not get the arrows and controls in the image
  4. copy the image into Microsoft paint (the 2010 edition or newer) now to edit the place, first up rotate and flip the image until it is hard to recognise and is the desired orientation.
  5. now lets get recolouring and renaming. first up there is no need to do this if your are happy already. so lets get rid of any unwanted place names. to do this use the pick colour tool to get the ground colour around the words. then use the brush or pencil tool to cover up the offending words. this can be done to any words or terrain items on the map, just remember to select the colour of the surround in terrain to blend in the edit. add green areas for forest, try and get the colours to shade just like the terrain so that you don't end up with a green mass.
  6. now for some roads and railways. to do this we need some colours, black for railways and the normal colour for roads on the map (use select to get it) just draw on what you want and set up your little road networks. at this point you might want to add other systems like power lines and irrigation ditches but please expect me to explain this as I did not do it myself. all I can say is pick a different colour and get painting.
  7. rivers and water. now forests may not be of priority in these maps, it is hard to add green without messing up the map, but rivers are important, use the normal google map blue and use the paint brush for this one, then you could use the pencil around the edges to blend it in a bit.
  8. towns. simple really just add some roads, put in a pattern (grid is realistic) then use the pencil to look like shading, use a similar colour to the roads, I used the same. then use the Letter tool to write in a name, go for a small font, and a easy to read one, select white as a colour, type in the name and done.
  9. blending the terrain. to do this use the pencil. select a colour half way between the two colours. then use it around the boarder between the colours, it should work though I have yet to try it on vegetation.
  10. final steps are to see if you like it and to make sure that you included the FACTS of maps
  • Frame
  • Arrow pointing to north
  • Color (not nessisary)
  • Title
  • Scale (if no scale write not so scale in a corner
Also A key would help people to interperate the map

so there you go have fun mapping and I hope to show you the map soon

AFV's who gives what??? soviets and the west are involved

Well I have been looking around for AFV's for a while now... I have had kind donations and looked at tip offs on good deals and I think I have found a good site... armory they were recomended by the manufacturer ACE models so I am hoping that the good deals that are shown on this site are genuine. so the big question is... when I have the money what do I get????

I do have plans... as this is the age of cold war2 (I thought it could make the game more interesting) the west and  the soviets will both be taking an interest in the nation of Oronegro. so I should think about old and new weaponary and armor being seen on the battlefield from those respective sides... Emmett (Winttrix) gave me the idea of having a british peace keeping froce to make my challenger II seem more at home in the game, which I like as an idea. but it might make the game to multinational but we'll see the alternative is it is a donation but I do not think that might work... but what else?

WELL here is what the soviet may be giving, and the kits I might use...

BMP-2 (from ACE models?)
looks cool but maybe to much to be giving?
T-90 main battle tank (ACE models as it is cheap?)
Advanced so maybe nor, a T-72 with reactive armour may do
BTR-152V (ICM kit)
good but maybe not advanced enough
BTR-60PB (ICM kit)
I saw some Kazak Elite police with one of these so my rebels would be right with one
There will also be a veriaty of other things mostly trucks but also a few hevier vehicles;

  • Ural trucks
  • Zil trucks
  • BM-24-12 rocket launchers fire system
  • zsu/23/4a/a (S&S models)
THE WEST shall provide.... I shall not show pics as I cannot be certain of what manuacturer to use

  • M60's
  • styker APC's (mostlikely Tamyia models0
  • M113's
  • M2 Bradleys
  • Humvies ???
  • Challenger II (or should they be part of a british peace keeping force)????
and others... still not quite sure but I would like to also add a bit of euro flavour south america is a mixture of US and euro.

I am not sure what I should get or even think of saving up for so I would like you to recomend which of the products or types of AFV stated abouve would be good. and add to the list if you like. please do not expect me to get anything soon and if I do get the donated M60's soon I shall do them first. the challenger II may be intergrated in one of two ways but I might get on and paint it soon or when I feel I have the experiance or courage to try it

the next board.. for the modern streets project

I know I am not finished yet :-( but I am almost (one building to fit out and decorate). so what next??? well I have plans BIG PLANS. plans me and a friend will bring into being.
Now my friend is not a hobbyist (I know a heretic but I shall convert him) but there is one thing that he really would like to help me with, apart from the spitfire model he got for Christmas (I am looking after/painting it). he would like a tower, for a sniper position, and there are 2 options.

1. a church tower
like this one I saw in Argentina... I think it is reallt cool look at the tiles on that dome
and 2 a clock tower
like this one perhaps
what will it be like? well He thought it would be a good idea to have a ladder. it should not be to wide and not too tall. 4-5 stories max!!! but I would like your opinion. The main problem is a church tower requires a church. sure it is a cool building but the other board will be smaller. But a clock tower is usualy linked to an important building... and the bar is in this board :-P

so what do you think is the best tower?

maybe my new followers will come up with the answer... Helo to Dan from Gunners wargaming blog and also a big helo to  TasminP  from wargaming girl . apparently a female wargamer is a mythical creature. perhaps her uniquness will mean she has some great and unique ideas.

how about a discussion on what should go in the bar...

If you did not know already I am going to put a bar into the street project. But the bar needs to serve something. that is where you my followers come into it...

I knew I would use this poster some day :-P
TO say what your favourite type of drink is. I already have a few... For sascha's bar we have

  1. Glenmorangie-scotch (sascha's favourite)
  2. Quilmes- beer (argentine)
  3. ???
that is where you come in state your favourite drink and it is in... I wine list may also be good. I recently thought of a way to make wine bottles. so come on then name the drink. I don't drink so have no opinion on what is good or bad, I'll just put in what you want.

Helo to Ray (rousell68) from don't throw a one and rays music page. We may find out his favourite drink as well if he replies to this post

A message to all sculptors out there...

Hi now I may not be adressing any scultors with this post but never mind... you see I have had a brain wave. I have looked for some modern NBC troops and some more elite infantry, like those you get in some games but I cannot find any. so I thought why not use this blog this is an idea and I have an audiance who are into moddelling so perhaps a sculptor may see this and go..."that ain't a bad idea".

So without further adoo here is what I am looking for
Some of you may recognise this as the Juggernaut from Modern Warfare 3
OK this is also what I am looking for. Soldiers with gas maskes and armour. Look the juggernaut exists
some more. I like the illistrations
I don't know where this fella is from possibly a movie
and just to show you I am not obsessed with the end of the world
AND now a big greating to Paul from Paul's Bods so much stuff and it is all very good and awsome. so good I'll steal an image or two for the sculptors out there hahahaha
Yes paul this is your what if roman
but it is my what if colombian
And I am vain here is one of me so that I may be sculpted. I think that Alex is doing something like that on Benno's but I am not sure...
last years 3000m I came 3rd
right there you go... Sculptors or painters please comment

modern streets post1 And some ideas about military organisation

First up the project

For all of you who do not know what this is it is a wargame base that represents a Latin American City in the year 2020.

for the rest of you who do know. here is the update.
I have added details to the room. A bed with pillows and a towel. On the wall there is a painting I'll focus on that later

A new building has gone in already this will be a simple shop unless you want it to be something else

the painting. simpley got off Google images, copied into word, given a boarder, printed of and pasted in

The large gapping hole in the hotel has been partialy fixed so that the hostages who are held in there won't choose suicide over ransom.

and a view from above of the new building and the hotel without it's roof
Now the idea
It occured to me today that I needed something to organise my figs. Well the military ones that is. I decides I would need to put them into groups but how big and what should they be called?
here is what I've come up with so far...
  • The smallest unit of men will be 5 men and will be called a "team". I have not decided on the name so you can give me one. :-D
  • the next unit size of men will be the "Squad" and will comprise of 25 men led by a "captain". I'm not sure about captain though.
  • The next one up is the "Unit" which contains 50 men =2 squads. Led by a Commander.
  • Then there is a "battalion" 100 men= 2 units/4 squads. Led by a Centurion. I wanted something a bit more unique for the system but you can find a cooler name if you want.
There is the basic unit sizes and the people who lead them. I would like for you guys to possibly help me by rethinking the size of the units and the names of the personell who lead them.
Here is what I came up with for support...
  • Each Squad (25 men) shall have a support team of 15 men. A grand total of 40.
  • the shall be the captain
  • 3 LMG's
  • 3-6 rocket launchers of various types.
  • 0-3 engineers, depends on the ammount of Rocket launchers
  • 4 members of a Guard and or recon team to scout and secure the area
  • and a medic
there you have the numbers of each of the supporting infantry. Here is the list of supporting vehicles a Squad shall have
  • 2 APC's (light and/or heavy) each with a capacity of 20 men.
  • 1 Tank (heavy AFV) and/or a light AFV depending on the situation.
  • In cases where is required. the following will be used instead of those above.
  • A drop ship. Helicopter, plane or Heli-plane (like the Osprey) instead of APC or tank
  • Hover craft. and or boat. instead of APC
  • Gun boat instead of tank or light AFV
  • In extreame cases many of the above will be used at once. it all depends on where and how the fight takes place.
So there you go. You can comment on the project or help me with the organisation of the forces I have.
... Please still comment on the other topics and threads as I will only stop discussing them either when I decide  (not) to do a project or when I complete that project.

have a nice day.

Idea number 2 details for the streets project.

OK as you all know I have been building a wargaming board set in a Latin American city. What I need is some details for it and some future projects I'll put up here soon. So let me begin.

my idea is to;

  1. think of somethings to decorate the walls, floors and furniture in my little city
  2. think of the use for the types of images. for Example a painting goes in an art gallery. blue prints in a small room used by terrorists for organisation.
  3. find on the internet suitible images that can be used for that theme and or building.
  4. print them off and put them in.
I have a few things printed off already but they are mostly rugs and things to go in a terrorist and/or rebel base. I am getting some paintings for the hotel and the buildings on the second sheet but I can't think of what else to put up there... That is where you come in. What should I put up on the walls. What buildings should they go in.

I have another board ready and waiting to be used for an extension of the street so I can add more buildings there. So you just tell me what would be cool and I'll try and build it ;-D

here are some pics of what I am talking about.
look in the back ground- a blank wall. this is a hotel it needs paintings and other things.  I've got some but what else does it need?
this the plan for the bar we are going to build. The rebels control it. what sort of political and/or social details should it include?
this is the top floor of the bar. It'll have rooms to stay in what should they have. an assassins  hide out?
these are some of the things I printed off already. What themes and or building projects can you make up?
Ok viewers the task is up to you. Can you aid me in my quest or will you let me fall. This is the moment of triumph. or insanity you decide
